Endangered species in romania
In 1988, at a site now inundated by Greers Ferry Lake, peregrine falcons reared their young. Over a century passed before fledgling peregrines returned to Arkansas.
In June 1993, an environmental team flew to Minnesota and picked up five fledgling falcons. These birds were given a new home at the Arkansas Power & Light Company power station on the White River in Independence County. They were acclimated to their new area in a hacking station 300 feet above the ground, then released when ready to fly. Three birds survived and were often seen flying near the White and Black rivers.
Sharks and rays live in relatively shallow ocean waters and occasionally freshwater, while chimaeras are found only in the ocean, mostly in deep water. Sharks have an age-old reputation for savagery, but only a few of the approximately 370 species deserve this reputation. Most sharks, like the spiny dogfish, are predators of small fish and invertebrates, while the largest, such as megamouths, whale sharks, and basking sharks, feed by filtering tiny invertebrates from the water. The nearly 200 species of rays are essentially sharks flattened like a pancake that have adapted to life on the ocean floor.
In liberty, big panda is found only in some isolated areas of some wet and cool forests, situated at 1200-1400m in the central mountains of Southern China. Here its favorite food, the bamboo tree grows.
Romania, country in southeastern Europe. Romania is rich in culture and natural resources, but it has long been one of Europes poorest and least developed nations. Foreign powers, including the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian empires, controlled the country or parts of it for much of its history. Bucharest is its capital and largest city. The modern country of Romania was created in 1859. It became fully independent in 1878. Romania was a kingdom from 1881 to 1947. In 1948 Communists took control of Romania and modeled the government and economy after those of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). However, in the 1960s Romanias Communist leaders began to distance themselves from the USSR and develop their own domestic and foreign policies.
The issue of keeping the animals in cages or not, or hunting them, is one of the most well-known and often discussed topic. Some people say, that the animals should live in freedom, but believe that the dangerous ones should be kept in cages or in well protected places not to harm the people. This essay will look at arguments for and against this problem and will state my own opinion in the end.
Carnivorous species have blunt heads and powerful jaws with sharp, wedge-shaped teeth that mesh like cutting shears and enable the fishes to cut the flesh from prey, which consists mostly of other fishes but also includes amphibians, birds, and mammals.
Following an almost two-decade (1951-1970) research of the Danube Delta territory, 274 bird species were identified of 176 were brooding (sedentary and migratory) and 98 non-brooding ones (winter, passage, erratic, and accidental birds). The species of brooding birds occurring in the Danube Delta were classified into 12 main biotopes, the classification criterion being represented by the nesting place where they show the greatest relative density.
The deer, the biggest vegetarian animal in Greece, is under an immediate danger. Because of the exaggerated hunting its populations are minimized and today there are very few left only in the peninsula of Sithonia, the mountain range of Rodopi and Parnassos.
In the Mediterranean Sea, the sea turtle caretta-caretta is reproduced only in Greece, Cyprus and Turkey. The density of the nests in Zakynthos is the higher all over the world.

One of the most important parts of living a human's life is the process of making a decision. The decisions people make can immediately influence the outcome of their lives, or cause long term effects. One of these crucial decisions is wether or not to have an abortion. Abortion is really a matter of how people understand and relate to life and to the notion of a human being. Even today, it has not been proven if the life that is conceived inside a woman is a human being from that very moment or not. Therefore abortion should remain legal until someone with authority in this matter will bring scientific evidence to support one of these two theories.
The inhabitants of forest communities interact in complex ways. Trees compete with each other for sunlight, moisture, and mineral nutrients. These materials are necessary for photosynthesis, the process by which green plants produce organic compounds for energy to live and grow. As trees photosynthesize, they absorb carbon dioxide from the air and extract moisture from the soil. Trees help to retain water; heavy rains do not run rapidly off forest land. Natural or human activities that destroy forests result in increased runoff and in temporarily higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. After this the growing forest increases the oxygen content of the atmosphere. A mature forest adds less oxygen to the atmosphere. A global research project designed to measure the overall influence of forests on the atmosphere of the Earth is in progress.
Whole world is moving,so we have to keep up.Every day people need to transport between different places to cary on daily activities, even though one cross the sea or the city. The coproscopic revealed infestations with protozoa and nematodes correlated with pet’s age. Table 1 displays the incidence of Isospora sp., infestations showing 76 positive cases (49.6 %) in the examined dogs, 100 % in the puppies. Only 7 positive cases (30.4 %) were detected in cats, all in the young felines.
